Guarding the Sacred Fire of Life

The body is the temple. The Spirit is the flame.

It is only through the temple of a strong and balanced body that a radiant spirit can shine. At Ming Dao Zu, you’ll learn how to protect and nourish the Three Treasures:

    • Jing (Essence): Build a body that burns clean, not out.

    • Qi (Energy): Breathe with power, calm, and natural rhythm.

    • Shen (Spirit): Live like a candle; steady, radiant, and true.

Choose Your Door

There are three doors. Each opens into a different rhythm. All lead to the same Bright Way. Start where your body says yes.

Weekly Training
Qigong, breath and form.  Classes rooted in Wudang tradition, delivered in Deventer and online.  Reclaim your energy through disciplined practice.

Seasonal Retreats
Stillness, ceremony and immersion.  Deep dives into movement, ritual and community during equinoxes and solstices.

Teacher Path
Keepers of the Flame.  An apprenticeship for those called to share this medicine, receive transmission and stand in the lineage.

Temple of Practice

“Some follow the Way without knowing its name. But their lives are aligned like stars in the night.”
Lieh-Tzu

Practice is our temple. The rhythm, our doorway. We hold weekly trainings, seasonal retreats, and in-depth initiations for those called to teach.

No noise. No excess. Just breath, movement, and presence, again and again. This is a space to return to yourself. To train without performance. To move without force. To build a body that burns clean. You don’t need to know the names. Only to feel what’s true in your body.
